It is estimated that 90% of affiliates make very little or no money from Internet marketing. If you wish to join the 10% that make money from affiliate marketing, follow these steps.
1/. The majority of affiliates all promote the same stuff, so as advertising is pay per click auction style, they all compete for the same key words, and therefore the advertising costs more. Better for affiliates to sell niche products with fewer competitors.
2/. Many affiliates try sell products they would not dream of buying themselves - if you wont want it, why do you expect other people to want it? Sell stuff you would like to buy.
3/. Affiliates sell products of low value, so the commission is also low, so target products with higher value and reasonable potential for sales.
4/. Many affiliates work for affiliate programs that apply cookie expiry - after 30 days, if they sell the product, you don't get paid. Choose affiliate programs with no cookie expiry.

6/. Scatter gun advertising describes an attitude that if I tell enough people, surely someone will buy. 9/. Take time out to do an audit to see how little you make from your current affiliate program. Calculate the number of hours you waste selling products - divide the commission you get by the number of hours you work to calculate your hourly rate. Around 10% of affiliates get paid decent dollars per hour, whilst the vast majority act like monkeys and get paid peanuts.
10/.
